A friend introduced me to this store and I fell in store heaven. It's always clean when I go inside. The staff is friendly and very respectful to customers. Everything I have bought from them has been great. The tea, veggies, fruit etc top tier grocery store.

Yes, there is an active bakery with prices cheaper than the Li Ming in Durham. It has a wide selection of baked goods too.

Nice selection of vegetables. Very high priced compared to other places. They only give calendars if you spend $100 or more. This is definitely catered to the Chinese market more so than Korean or Japanese. Parking is ample but turning into is a pain. It's a tight turn into the plaza to have to go down a steep hill. At 1000 the parking lot was full of abandoned carts. They have a fresher selection of veggies than super G market but be prepared to spend twice the amount for them.

For a few years, I've avoided Li Ming's for location for one, but also I didn't feel it was too clean at times. I've gone a good amount of times this year and it's not AS bad as years past. Your typical Asian market, and I say Asian because even though it does say international, it's majority Asian items which could be problematic for people looking for other countries' items. Produce, condiments, noodles, rice, ramen, fish/seafood section, frozen foods (ie dumplings, whole meals, ingredients, dinnerware, untensils, pots, pans, woks, cooking devices. They offer a lot of Asian snacks you wouldn't find in a typical grocery store. It used to be really unorganized here but it's gotten better - especially trying to find the exact ingredient and it's misplaced by another patron. Parking is odd, you just have to guess the lines. 3.5 realistically

This review is from the point of view of my wife and I. I'm a white American who lived outside the US for about 13 years and visited/lived in 27 countries. My wife is a Filipina who is part Chinese. In Greensboro, there are two large Asian grocery stores: Li Ming's and Super G. We only go to Super G when we want to buy fresh banana leaves because it's the only place we have found that has them. If you want to find a better selection and much nicer modern facilities and environment, go to Li Ming's. They have a massive selection of items, so, with the exception of fresh banana leaves (what's up with that Li Ming's? ), you will pretty much find what you want. Let me provide a caveat: I am not including Indian foods, I'm talking about East and Southeast Asia. Because a lot of what we get is for making Filipino foods, that's the primary focus of what we look for when shopping there. They have a great selection of longabiza, Halo-Halo mixes, Mama Sita's mixes, Datu Puti, lumpia wrappers, salted eggs, and everything else on your list. They also have a ton of snacks, many of which are new to us, so we always get something different to try. Plus, you can get Marie biscuits, which our granddaughter LOVES. If you go to the far left of the store you will find a lot of kitchen goods as well. There are pots and pans, chopsticks, and other assorted goodies. Just browsing is fun! In short, Li Ming's is a great place to shop. It's well lit, has roomy aisles, ample parking, is rarely crowded, and an inventory that is second to none. Oh, and if you need help finding something, everyone there is super friendly and will take you to whatever you're looking for.
